Description

You’re going to love this one—imagine the burst of flavors, the vibrant textures, and that secret twist that makes this recipe absolutely irresistible; trust me, you need to try this ASAP!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Red and blue gel food coloring
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture to form a thick dough.
  3. Cover and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
  4. Divide the chilled dough into three equal parts. Leave one plain, tint one red, and the other blue with gel food coloring.
  5. Scoop about ½ tablespoon from each colored dough, press together, and roll into 1-inch balls.
  6. Roll each ball in powdered sugar twice for maximum crinkle.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line baking sheets with parchment and bake cookies for 12–14 minutes.
  8. Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill your dough for defined crinkles, use gel coloring for bold colors, and double-roll for extra sparkle. Slightly underbake to keep the centers soft.
