Description
This chilled, no-bake pie is nostalgic, colorful, and seriously simple—5 minutes of prep and layers of red, white, and blue that’ll charm kids and adults alike. It’s festive, photogenic, and disappears faster than you can say “Star-Spangled Banner.”

- 1 box (3 oz) Berry Blue Jello
- 1 box (3 oz) Cherry Jello
- 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1 prepared graham cracker crust (or shortbread crust)
- 1 cup boiling water (per Jello flavor)
- ½ cup ice cubes (per Jello flavor)
- Fresh blueberries & diced strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve the berry blue Jello in ¾ cup boiling water.
- Stir in ½ cup ice cubes until partially thickened.
- Pour into the prepared crust and refrigerate for about 15 minutes, or until softly set.
- Once the blue layer has set, gently spread 1 cup of Cool Whip over it.
- Use a spoon or offset spatula for a smooth, even layer.
- Return to the fridge to firm up for another 10–15 minutes.
- Dissolve the cherry Jello in ¾ cup boiling water.
- Stir in ½ cup ice cubes and let it sit at room temperature until it thickens slightly.
- Carefully pour the red layer over the white Cool Whip layer.
- Chill the pie for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, top with remaining Cool Whip and arrange fresh strawberries and blueberries in a festive design.
Notes
Fully thaw Cool Whip before spreading for smooth layering. Ensure each Jello layer is fully set before adding the next. Overnight chilling gives the cleanest slices. Use a glass pie dish to showcase the red, white, and blue layers. Get creative with whipped cream stars or fruit flags!
