Description

Air Fryer Egg Toast is a quick, cozy breakfast with crisp edges and a creamy yolk. It’s ready in under 10 minutes and needs only bread and eggs. Kids love it, and cleanup stays simple.

Ingredients

Scale

2 large eggs

2 slices large-cut bread (Dave’s Killer Bread or Brownberry)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: shredded cheese

Instructions

1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

2. Place the bread slices in the basket.

3. Press a deep indent in the center of each slice using a glass, then press with your fingers.

4. Crack one egg into each indent. Some egg white may overflow and that is okay.

5. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Air fry at 340°F for 8 minutes for runny yolks with set whites.

7. Optional: sprinkle cheese on top during the last minute.

8. Remove with a spatula and serve warm.

Notes

Total time stays under 10 minutes.

For runnier yolks, cook 7 minutes.

For firmer yolks, reduce temperature to 330°F and cook 9 to 10 minutes.

Use sturdy bread so the egg sits neatly.

Cheese adds a melty, savory finish.

Great for kids and easy to customize.
