Description
Apple Pie Bites are a quick and cozy dessert made with crescent dough, tart apple slices, brown sugar, and warm spices. Perfect for fall, holidays, or anytime you want pie flavor in a simple, handheld treat.
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) can of refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced into 8 equal wedges
¼ cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon apple pie spice (or cinnamon and nutmeg mix)
3 tablespoons chopped pecans
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, apple pie spice, and chopped pecans.
3. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
4. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly onto each triangle.
5. Place an apple wedge on the wide end and roll up.
6. Place on the prepared baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use any apple variety if Granny Smith isn’t available.
Optional: drizzle with caramel sauce or serve with vanilla ice cream.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
Reheat in the oven at 325°F or in the microwave for a few seconds.
