Description

This baked teriyaki salmon is quick, flavorful, and perfect for weeknights. Sweet-savory glaze over tender salmon, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets, about 4 ounces each

1 batch teriyaki sauce

2 cups cooked rice

2 cups cooked broccoli

⅓ cup diced scallion

Optional: sesame seeds, red pepper flakes

Instructions

1. If frozen, thaw salmon in the fridge overnight. Pat dry.

2. Use your favorite store-bought or homemade teriyaki sauce. Preheat oven to 400°F.

3. Place salmon in a lightly oiled baking dish, skin side down. Brush with half the sauce. Let sit for 20 minutes if you can.

4. Bake 12–18 minutes for fillets, 10–14 minutes for cubes. Salmon is done when it flakes easily.

5. Broil for 2 minutes for a caramelized top. Watch closely.

6. Drizzle with the rest of the sauce. Add sesame seeds, scallions, or red pepper flakes. Serve with rice and broccoli.

Notes

Keep the skin on for moisture.

Don’t over-marinate, especially with acidic sauces.

Use a lined baking dish for easier cleanup.

Air fryer method: Cook at 380°F for 10–14 minutes for fillets or 8–12 minutes for cubes.
