Description

Festive, creamy, and no-bake — these Blue Christmas Truffles bring sparkle to every holiday table. Each one has a soft cream cheese filling coated in smooth white chocolate, decorated with a frosty blue shimmer.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 cups powdered sugar, sifted

1 cup shredded coconut (optional for texture)

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp almond extract (optional for extra flavor)

4 drops blue food coloring

12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts

Blue sparkling sugar or sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

1. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

2. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.

3. Stir in vanilla, almond extract (optional), and blue food coloring until the mixture is evenly tinted.

4. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts and roll into balls.

5. Place rolled truffles on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 30 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, melt white chocolate in the microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring each time until smooth.

7. Dip each frozen truffle into melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.

8. Place coated truffles back on the tray and sprinkle immediately with blue sugar or sprinkles.

9. Let truffles set at room temperature or chill for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can replace coconut with crushed cookies or chopped nuts.

Adjust the food coloring to achieve your preferred shade of blue.

To make ahead, freeze truffles for up to 3 months in an airtight container.

Thaw in the fridge overnight before serving for best results.
