Description
This Chicken Alfredo is a creamy, comforting dinner made in about 30 minutes. It features tender chicken, pasta, and broccoli tossed in a lighter Alfredo-style sauce that delivers rich flavor without heaviness.
Ingredients
2 cups broccoli florets
8–10 oz pasta
1/2 onion, finely chopped
5–6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
2 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup milk
1 cup chicken broth
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until tender. Add broccoli during the last minute, then drain together
2. Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Set aside
3. In the same pan sauté onion and garlic until fragrant
4. Stir in flour and cook briefly
5. Gradually whisk in milk and chicken broth until sauce thickens
6. Add cream cheese and Parmesan and stir until smooth
7. Season with spices to taste
8. Return chicken, pasta, and broccoli to the pan and toss well
9. Heat through and serve warm
Notes
Use milk and broth instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce
Stir continuously while thickening to avoid lumps
Add extra milk if sauce becomes too thick
Swap broccoli with spinach or mushrooms if desired
Store leftovers in fridge for up to 3 days
