- 2 tablespoons butter (or substitute olive oil)
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place each chicken breast between parchment paper and gently pound to even thickness (about 1/2 to 3/4 inch).
- Rub both sides with olive oil, then coat with seasoning mix.
- Place chicken in a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish. Dot each with a dab of butter.
- Bake uncovered for 18–20 minutes.
