Ingredients
1 strawberry cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
Chocolate chips or chocolate candy melts
Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark pans).
2. Mix cake mix, oil, vanilla, and eggs until dough forms.
3. Chill dough 15–30 minutes.
4. Shape into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake 9–12 minutes until tops look dry and edges are lightly golden.
6. Let sit 1 minute, then move to racks to cool 30 minutes.
7. Melt chocolate and dip or drizzle over cooled cookies.
8. Add sprinkles before chocolate sets.
Notes
You can substitute the strawberry cake mix with cherry chip or vanilla for a twist.
White or colored candy melts can replace chocolate.
For a stronger chocolate flavor, fully dip cookies.
