Ingredients
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
10 oz dark chocolate melting wafers
Instructions
1. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. Beat peanut butter, butter, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Gradually add powdered sugar until fully incorporated and dough-like.
4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and shape into a 3/4-inch thick slab.
5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
6. Cut out heart shapes with a cookie cutter and return to the fridge for 30 minutes.
7. Melt chocolate wafers according to package directions.
8. Dip each heart into melted chocolate to fully coat.
9. Place on parchment paper and let sit until chocolate sets completely.
Notes
Store finished hearts in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
For best results, use high-quality chocolate wafers.
Let chocolate set at room temperature for a smooth finish.
If the mixture is too soft to cut cleanly, chill longer.
