Description

Chewy, crunchy, sweet and salty Christmas Kitchen Sink Cookies packed with M&M’s, white chocolate, pretzels, potato chips, and festive sprinkles. Quick prep, no chill, and perfect for gifting.

Ingredients

Scale

¾ cup salted butter, softened

¾ cup light brown sugar, packed

¼ cup granulated white sugar

2 egg yolks, at room temperature

2 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract

1½ cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

½ cup red and green M&M’s

⅓ cup white chocolate chips

⅓ cup pretzel pieces

⅓ cup potato chip pieces

2 tbsp red and green jimmies (sprinkles)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

3. Add egg yolks and vanilla. Mix 2 minutes until pale and creamy.

4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined.

5. Fold in M&M’s, white chocolate chips, pretzels, potato chips, and sprinkles.

6. Scoop dough into 20 balls. Place 2 inches apart on lined sheets. Optionally add extra mix-ins on top.

7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Bake 10 for chewy centers or 12 for crisp edges.

8. Optional: shape cookies right out of the oven with a large round cookie cutter for even edges.

9. Cool on sheets 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack for 10 minutes.

Notes

Storage: store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Substitutions: swap in butterscotch chips, peanut butter chips, nuts, or other chocolates. Keep total mix-ins the same.

Make ahead: refrigerate dough up to 3 days or freeze up to 2 weeks. Let dough rest at room temperature before baking.

Pro tips: spoon and level flour or weigh it. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Press extra mix-ins on top before baking. Use a cookie cutter after baking to tidy edges.
