Description
Fun, colorful Cookie Monster Cookies made with sugar cookie mix, Oreos, Chips Ahoy!, and candy eyes. Quick to prep and perfect for Halloween or kids’ parties.
Ingredients
1 bag (17.5 oz) sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup salted butter, softened
1 large egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Blue gel food coloring
1/2 cup mini Oreos, halved
1/2 cup mini Chips Ahoy!, halved
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
32 large candy eyeballs
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to temperature on cookie mix package and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar cookie mix, butter, egg, and vanilla until dough forms.
3. Add blue gel food coloring to desired shade and mix well.
4. Fold in mini Oreos, Chips Ahoy!, white and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
5. Scoop about 3 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place on baking sheets.
6. Bake for 13–16 minutes, until edges are set and lightly golden.
7. Immediately press candy eyeballs into warm cookies after baking.
8. Cool on sheets a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Avoid overbaking for soft centers.
Use gel food coloring to avoid thinning the dough.
Press eyes in while cookies are still warm for best hold.
Reshape cookies right after baking if needed.
Store in airtight container for 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
