Ingredients
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 packets chicken gravy mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1/2 cup sour cream
Optional: sliced green onions for topping
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper
2. In a crock pot, whisk together the gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and water until smooth
3. Add seasoned chicken to the mixture and coat well
4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours
5. When cooked, shred chicken with a fork into chunks
6. Stir in sour cream until the gravy turns creamy
7. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles
8. Garnish with green onions if desired
