Description

Easy crockpot meal with sweet and tangy BBQ flavor, ideal for family dinners or summer meals.


Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts

Salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce (recommended: Honey BBQ, e.g., Sweet Baby Ray’s)

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon minced garlic

12 cans pineapple chunks (1 can in crockpot, optional 1 can for serving)

Optional: Cooked rice for serving


Instructions

1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker; season with salt and pepper.

2. In a small bowl, mix BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and garlic.

3. Pour sauce over the chicken, followed by 1 can of pineapple chunks (drained).
