Description

Juicy, tender Crockpot Steak Bites simmered in rich au jus and butter. This simple slow cooker recipe delivers flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth beef perfect for easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

34 pounds top sirloin steak or other cut of steak, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 packet au jus gravy mix

1 packet onion soup mix

4 tablespoons butter, cut into pats

1 cup beef broth

Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut steak into 1-inch pieces, removing fat and gristle.

2. Place steak in a single layer in the crockpot.

3. Sprinkle onion soup mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the meat.

4. Add butter pieces on top, then pour in beef broth.

5. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours until steak is tender but not overcooked.

6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Trim extra fat and gristle while cutting the steak.

Do not exceed the recommended cook time to prevent toughening.

Freeze leftover au jus for future use as gravy.

Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
