Ingredients
1/2 ripe Hass avocado
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional sweetener such as maple syrup or coconut sugar
Optional pinch of sea salt
Instructions
1. Allow avocado and banana to reach room temperature before using.
2. Scoop avocado and slice banana, then place both into a blender or food processor.
3. Add cacao powder and vanilla extract.
4. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
5. Taste and add sweetener if desired, blending again to incorporate.
6. Transfer mousse to serving bowls or glasses.
7. Chill briefly in the refrigerator to let flavors develop and texture firm up.
