Ingredients
24 medium strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried
8 ounces good quality chocolate or melting wafers, chopped
4 ounces white chocolate or melting wafers, chopped
Optional toppings: crushed nuts, mini chocolate chips, or sprinkles
Instructions
1. Ensure strawberries are completely dry before beginning.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
3. Melt the main chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
4. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, turning to coat all sides.
5. Let excess chocolate drip off, then place on the prepared sheet.
6. Refrigerate for 5–10 minutes until set.
7. Melt the white chocolate using the same microwave method.
8. Pour into a piping or zip-top bag, snip a small corner, and drizzle over the chilled strawberries.
9. Refrigerate again until fully firm.
Notes
Strawberries must be fully dry and at room temperature to prevent the chocolate from slipping.
Chill briefly before decorating.
