Description

This easy sautéed zucchini is the perfect quick veggie side dish—fresh, healthy, and ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

5 medium zucchini, thinly sliced

Salt and black pepper, to taste

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. Wash and thinly slice zucchini into rounds or half-moons.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Add minced garlic; cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Add zucchini slices; cook 3–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until just tender.

5. Season with salt, pepper, and Parmesan if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use two batches if your skillet is too full to avoid steaming.

Try chili flakes, lemon zest, or fresh thyme for a flavor boost.

Remove seeds from large zucchini for better texture.

Serve with grilled chicken, pork, or grain bowls.
