Ingredients

  • Optional: 1–3 tbsp amaretto or liquor of choice

Instructions

  1. Freeze your ice cream maker base the night before.
  2. Make a simple syrup: combine sugar and water, heat until dissolved.
  3. Blend cherries with ½ cup syrup, lime juice, and salt.
  4. Strain mixture to remove skins.
  5. Perform the egg float test to check sugar level.
  6. Chill mixture for 1 hour.
