Ingredients
1 (9-inch) frozen or refrigerated pie crust, thawed
3 large eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, slightly warmed
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt.
3. Stir in 3/4 cup chocolate chips, hot fudge sauce, and chopped pecans.
4. Pour mixture into the pie crust and smooth the top.
5. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips on top.
6. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until center is mostly set.
7. Let cool completely before slicing.
8. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
