Description

Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese with buttery garlic crust and gooey melted cheese. A quick 15-minute comfort meal that’s perfect for dinner or lunch.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (28 g)

1/2 tablespoon garlic powder (4 g)

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (0.5 g)

4 slices sandwich bread (white or sourdough preferred, 160 g)

1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend (113 g)

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and parsley until smooth.

2. Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.

3. Place two slices buttered-side down in a skillet; add shredded cheese evenly on top.

4. Cover with the remaining slices, buttered-side up.

5. Heat a sauté pan over low heat and toast sandwiches 4–5 minutes until golden brown.

6. Flip carefully and cook another 4–5 minutes until cheese is fully melted and both sides are crisp.

7. Serve immediately while hot and gooey.

Notes

Use low heat to keep bread golden while cheese melts perfectly.

Soften butter before mixing for even spreading.

Mixing mozzarella and cheddar gives the right pull and tang.

Avoid microwaving leftovers—use a skillet to re-crisp the bread.
