Description
A warm, cheesy sandwich with golden crispy garlic bread and melty cheese. Perfect for lunch or dinner and easy to prepare in a skillet or oven.
Ingredients
4 tbsp butter, softened
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
4 slices sourdough bread
2-4 slices cheddar cheese
2-4 slices provolone cheese
2-4 tomato slices
Salt and black pepper
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley.
2. Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.
3. Heat skillet over medium heat. Place two slices butter-side down.
4. Layer cheddar, provolone, tomato, salt, and pepper.
5. Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
6. Cook for 4–5 minutes until golden brown.
7. Flip and cook 4–5 minutes until other side is golden and cheese melts.
8. Alternatively, bake at 450°F for 5 minutes per side until golden.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
Reheat in oven or toaster oven for crisp texture.
