Description

A warm, cheesy sandwich with golden crispy garlic bread and melty cheese. Perfect for lunch or dinner and easy to prepare in a skillet or oven.

Ingredients

Scale

4 tbsp butter, softened

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

4 slices sourdough bread

2-4 slices cheddar cheese

2-4 slices provolone cheese

2-4 tomato slices

Salt and black pepper

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley.

2. Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.

3. Heat skillet over medium heat. Place two slices butter-side down.

4. Layer cheddar, provolone, tomato, salt, and pepper.

5. Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.

6. Cook for 4–5 minutes until golden brown.

7. Flip and cook 4–5 minutes until other side is golden and cheese melts.

8. Alternatively, bake at 450°F for 5 minutes per side until golden.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for best flavor.

Reheat in oven or toaster oven for crisp texture.

Try variations like ciabatta or focaccia bread.
