Description

Creamy, garlicky, and full of savory steak flavor, this Garlic Steak Tortellini makes a perfect weeknight dinner ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)

1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)

Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika

2 tbsp olive oil

4 tbsp butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup whole milk

1 1/4 cups shredded or freshly grated parmesan cheese

Optional garnishes: chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, cracked black pepper

Instructions

1. Boil salted water and cook tortellini for 3–5 minutes until al dente; drain and set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, then sear for 3–5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in heavy cream and milk, stir, and let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

5. Gradually stir in parmesan until fully melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.

6. Return steak and tortellini to the skillet. Stir gently for 2 minutes to coat in sauce.

7. Top with optional garnishes and serve immediately.

Notes

Use sirloin for leaner meat or ribeye for tenderness.

Let the sauce simmer longer for a thicker texture.

Adjust garlic quantity to personal preference.

For milder heat, omit red pepper flakes.

Deglaze the skillet with wine to enhance flavor and reduce cleanup.
