Description
Festive and creamy red velvet cheesecake truffles dipped in green candy coating and topped with a red heart. These easy no-bake Grinch Oreo Balls are the perfect Christmas dessert for parties or a cozy Grinch movie night.
Ingredients
44 Red Velvet Oreos (approx. 24.4 oz, 2 packages)
8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
15 oz light green candy melts (reserve ½–¾ cup for drizzle)
Red heart sprinkles
Instructions
1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Pulse Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor.
3. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
4. Mix Oreo crumbs with cream cheese until combined.
5. Scoop 1.5-inch balls and roll until smooth; place on baking sheet.
6. Chill for 2 hours.
7. Melt candy melts (reserving ½–¾ cup for drizzle).
8. Dip chilled balls in melted coating using a fork; tap off excess.
9. Place dipped balls back on parchment.
10. Melt reserved candy melts, drizzle over truffles.
11. Top each with a red heart sprinkle before drizzle sets.
12. Let coating set completely before serving.
Notes
Use room-temperature cream cheese for a smoother mixture.
Chill balls before dipping for best results.
If the coating is too thick, thin with a small amount of canola or coconut oil.
You can substitute white chocolate and green food coloring if candy melts aren’t available.
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the fridge or freeze for longer storage.
