Ingredients
1/4 pound salted saltine crackers (about one sleeve)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Halloween sprinkles (including eye ball sprinkles if desired)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Line an 18×13 baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange saltines in an even layer, salt-side up.
3. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and peanut butter. Stir occasionally and bring to a full boil over medium heat.
4. Once boiling, stop stirring and continue to boil for 3 minutes.
5. Carefully pour the hot mixture over the crackers and bake for 5 minutes.
6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips, and return to oven for 1 more minute.
7. Spread melted chocolate evenly and top with Halloween sprinkles.
8. Cool on the counter for 20 minutes, then freeze for 1 hour.
9. Break into small pieces to serve.
