Description

Warm apples, cinnamon, and a crunchy oat-nut topping make this Healthy Breakfast Apple Crumble the perfect wholesome start to your day. Ready in 40 minutes for a cozy morning treat.


Ingredients

Scale

6 sweet apples

1 tbsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

2 tsp coconut oil

2/3 cup oats

2/3 cup pecans (or walnuts)

1 tbsp coconut oil

2 tsp honey

1 tbsp water (approx.)


Instructions

1. Chop apples and sauté with coconut oil, cinnamon, and salt at medium-high heat, covering for 2–3 minutes to soften.

2. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.

3. Blend oats, nuts, coconut oil, honey, and water until sticky and crumbly.

4. Spread apples in an oiled or parchment-lined baking pan.

5. Form larger crumble pieces by squeezing mixture and spread over apples.

6. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown.

7. Cool slightly; serve with milk or yogurt for breakfast, or ice cream for dessert.

Notes

Store in fridge up to 3 days.

Reheat in oven for 5–10 minutes to restore crisp texture.

Serve warm with yogurt for breakfast or ice cream for dessert.
