- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Juice of 1 lime
- Corn or flour tortillas
- Cabbage slaw (shredded cabbage, lime juice, cilantro)
- Chipotle lime crema (Greek yogurt, chipotle powder, lime juice)
- Toppings: avocado, tomatoes, cotija cheese, mango salsa
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix shrimp with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and lime juice. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high. Sear shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly crisp.
- Warm tortillas on the stove or in the oven.
- Fill each tortilla with cabbage slaw, cooked shrimp, and a drizzle of chipotle lime crema.
- Top with avocado, tomatoes, cotija cheese, or mango salsa as desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use wild-caught shrimp for better flavor and sustainability. Toast tortillas for extra flavor and don’t overcook shrimp to keep them juicy.
