Description
Easy no-bake dessert with Oreo crust, cream cheese filling, chocolate pudding, Cool Whip, and chocolate chips. Ideal for parties.
Ingredients
33 original chocolate Oreo cookies (13.29 oz bag)
6 tbsp melted butter
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
¾ cup powdered sugar (or ¼ cup granulated sugar)
2 tbsp whole milk (or low-fat milk)
6 oz Cool Whip (plus 6 oz for topping)
2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
3¼ cups cold whole milk
1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using food processor or rolling pin.
2. Mix crumbs with melted butter and press into a 9×13 inch dish.
3. Chill crust in freezer or refrigerator for 5 minutes.
4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 2 tbsp milk, and powdered sugar until smooth.
5. Fold in 6 oz Cool Whip. Spread over Oreo crust.
6. In another bowl, beat pudding mix with 3¼ cups cold milk until thickened.
7. Spread pudding over cream cheese layer.
8. Spread remaining 6 oz Cool Whip over pudding layer.
9. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
10. Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 2 hours for best results.
Notes
Original Oreo cookies are preferred over double-stuffed.
Powdered sugar stabilizes Cool Whip better than granulated sugar.
Cool Whip holds shape better than homemade whipped cream.
Chocolate chips are optional but add visual and flavor appeal.
