Description
This peach lemonade is sweet, tart, and made with real fruit and fresh lemon juice—perfect for hot days, parties, or a refreshing slushie!
Ingredients
1.16 lbs (about 3 large) ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
½ cup sugar (or sweetener like honey, stevia, or erythritol)
2 cups water (for syrup)
1/3 cup lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
3 cups water or sparkling water (for mixing)
Optional: lemon slices, peach slices, mint, ice cubes
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, and 2 cups water.
2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring often.
3. Reduce heat and simmer 5–10 minutes until peaches are soft.
4. Let cool for 30 minutes, then strain to make syrup.
5. Juice the lemons; zest first if desired.
6. In a pitcher, mix 1 cup peach syrup, lemon juice, and 3 cups water or sparkling water.
7. Stir and taste—adjust sweetness or tartness as preferred.
8. Serve over ice, garnished with mint, lemon, or peach slices.
Notes
• For sugar-free: use stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol.
• Use red-skinned peaches for a brighter color.
• Freeze leftovers into popsicles with berries—keeps for up to 2 months.
• Add vodka, rum, bourbon, or peach schnapps for a cocktail version.
• Try with green tea instead of water for peach green tea lemonade.
