Description
Soft, chewy peanut butter cookies rolled in sugar and topped with a Hershey’s Kiss. Classic holiday favorite.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Additional granulated sugar (for rolling)
48 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
1. Beat butter and peanut butter until smooth.
2. Add sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
3. Mix in egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
6. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
8. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
9. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
10. Bake 8–10 minutes until edges are set.
11. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
12. Cool cookies on baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Chill dough for better shape retention.
Use a cookie scoop for uniform size.
Work in batches if needed to prevent Hershey’s Kisses from melting before placement.
Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
Can be made ahead of time; freeze dough balls and bake when ready.
