Description

This sweet and crunchy pink popcorn makes a fun, candy-coated treat perfect for Valentine’s Day parties, gifting, or movie nights. Ready in just 15 minutes using simple pantry ingredients!

Ingredients

Scale

12 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup unpopped kernels)

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1/2 cup water

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

A few drops of pink food coloring

Instructions

1. Place popcorn in a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels.

2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.

3. Stop stirring and continue boiling until the mixture reaches 230°F on a candy thermometer.

4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and pink food coloring.

5. Pour mixture over popcorn and gently stir to coat evenly.

6. Spread coated popcorn on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to cool and harden.

7. Break into clusters once fully set.

Notes

Use gel or liquid food coloring to achieve your desired color intensity.

Shape popcorn into balls while still warm if desired.

Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

This recipe can easily be customized with other colors or flavor extracts for any occasion.
