Description

Festive Rice Crispy Treats coated in creamy white chocolate and topped with colorful Christmas sprinkles. A no-bake, buttery, and chewy holiday dessert perfect for gifting or parties.


Ingredients

3 cups puffed rice cereal

1½ cups mini marshmallows (or 1 cup mini marshmallows + ¼ cup marshmallow fluff)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups white chocolate chips or white chocolate candy melts

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

½ cup red, green, and white nonpareils


Instructions

1. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.

2. Add marshmallows and fluff, stirring until smooth.

3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

4. Add puffed rice cereal and mix until evenly coated.

5. Let the mixture cool slightly for easier shaping.

6. Grease hands lightly and roll mixture into 1–1.5 inch balls.

7. Place on parchment paper and let cool fully.

8. Melt white chocolate in short microwave bursts, stirring in coconut oil if needed.

9. Let the chocolate cool slightly before coating.

10. Dip each ball into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.

11. Add sprinkles before chocolate sets.

12. Let harden at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate up to 1 week.

Use parchment between layers if stacking.

Best served at room temperature.
