Description
Strawberries and Cream Fudge is a quick no-bake strawberry dessert made with white chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and strawberry jelly powder. It sets into smooth, creamy squares with a pretty swirled finish and sweet fruity flavor.
Ingredients
600 g white chocolate
397 g sweetened condensed milk
23 g strawberry jelly powder
Freeze-dried strawberries, optional
Instructions
1. Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
2. Melt the white chocolate gently in short bursts, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
3. Mix in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth and fully combined.
4. Pour about two-thirds of the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
5. Add the strawberry jelly powder to the remaining mixture and stir well.
6. Spoon the strawberry mixture over the base layer and lightly swirl the two together using a knife or skewer.
7. Sprinkle freeze-dried strawberries on top and press them in slightly.
8. Refrigerate for several hours, about 3 hours, or until fully set.
9. Cut into pieces and serve.
Notes
Work quickly when adding the strawberry layer so you can create smooth swirls before the mixture sets.
Microwave melting should be done in short intervals to prevent overheating the white chocolate.
Freeze-dried strawberries are optional, but they add extra strawberry flavor and a pretty finish.
Chill until completely firm for clean slicing.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
