Description

Strawberry Matcha Latte is a refreshing layered iced drink made with sweet strawberries, creamy milk, and smooth matcha. This easy 10-minute recipe creates a café-style drink at home with a perfect balance of fruity and earthy flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

¼ cup strawberry sauce or 2 tbsp strawberry jam or ½ cup fresh strawberries with 1–2 tbsp sugar

Ice

½ cup milk or non-dairy milk

¼ cup hot water (about 175°F)

12 tsp matcha powder (sifted)

Instructions

1. If using fresh strawberries, mash them with sugar and let sit for 5 minutes until juicy

2. Add strawberry mixture or jam to the bottom of a glass

3. Add ice over the strawberry layer

4. Slowly pour milk over the ice to keep layers separate

5. Whisk sifted matcha with hot water until smooth and slightly frothy

6. Gently pour matcha over the milk to create layers

7. Stir before drinking and serve immediately

Notes

Adjust matcha amount based on your taste preference

Use less sugar if strawberries are naturally sweet

Pour liquids slowly over a spoon for clean layers

Warm matcha helps create distinct layers
