Description

Mini taco tartlets loaded with zesty beef, creamy ranch, and melty cheddar, all tucked into crispy phyllo shells—these bites are the ultimate party snack or lunchtime treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
  • 5 packs (15 each) frozen phyllo tart shells (75 shells total)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain well.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chilies. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the ranch dressing and shredded cheese until melty and blended.
  5. Keep the phyllo shells frozen until just before filling.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture into each shell, filling generously.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes (or 10–13 if baking from frozen) until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Want crispier tops? Pop them under the broiler for 1–2 minutes. Drain beef well to avoid soggy shells. Customize with pepper jack for heat or black beans for a veggie twist!
