Ingredients
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 oz cream cheese
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
2 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup chicken broth
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
8 oz uncooked penne pasta
Instructions
1. Place chicken, cream cheese, butter, garlic, salt, pepper, broth, and heavy cream in the slow cooker.
2. Cook on high for 2–3 hours or on low for 4–5 hours, until chicken is fully cooked.
3. Remove chicken, shred it, then return it to the crockpot.
4. Add uncooked pasta and parmesan cheese, then stir to combine.
5. Cook on high for another 35–40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
6. Serve warm topped with extra parmesan and fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
No need to pre-boil pasta — it cooks directly in the sauce.
You can pan-sear the chicken before adding for extra texture.
Garlic powder can replace fresh garlic in a pinch.
Add Cajun seasoning or spinach for extra flavor and color.
