Description

This irresistible no-bake treat combines chocolate, caramel, and pretzels with a touch of sea salt for a perfect sweet and salty Christmas dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

8 oz mini pretzels

11 oz Kraft caramels (square type)

2 tbsp heavy cream

Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Melt chocolate chips in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring between each.

3. Spread about two-thirds of the melted chocolate on the prepared baking sheet.

4. Layer pretzels evenly over the melted chocolate and press gently.

5. Microwave the caramels and heavy cream together for about 2 minutes until smooth.

6. Drizzle the melted caramel over the pretzels.

7. Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the top.

8. Sprinkle sea salt across the surface.

9. Chill in the fridge until firm or leave at room temperature for about 2 hours.

10. Break or cut into pieces and serve.

Notes

Use a sharp knife to cut the bark cleanly.

Microwave is faster for melting; a double boiler also works.

Room temperature setting takes 2 hours; fridge setting is quicker.

Store in airtight container at room temp up to 2 weeks or freeze up to 3 months.
