2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp Valentine sprinkles (for dough)
1 tub Duncan Hines white frosting
¼ cup Valentine sprinkles (for topping)
1 tbsp candy hearts and/or red M&Ms
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar together.
3. Add butter, eggs, and vanilla; stir until a soft dough forms.
4. Fold in Valentine sprinkles until evenly mixed.
5. Press dough evenly into the pan using a spatula or clean hands.
6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Let the bars cool completely before frosting.
8. Spread frosting evenly across the surface.
9. Top with extra sprinkles and candy hearts or M&Ms.
10. Slice into 16 squares and serve.
Notes
Chill the dough for 10–15 minutes before baking for more even texture.
Let bars cool completely before adding frosting to prevent melting.
You can swap the candy decorations for chocolate chips or mini marshmallows.
Bars store well in an airtight container for up to a week or can be frozen for up to 3 months.
