Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1⅓ cups all-purpose flour
½ tablespoon cornstarch
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup red, white, and blue mini M&M’s
¼ cup sprinkles
Frosting (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch pie plate
2. Cream softened butter with both sugars until smooth and fluffy
3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until combined
4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt
5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a soft dough forms
6. Fold in chocolate chips, M&M’s, and sprinkles
7. Press dough evenly into the prepared pan
8. Bake for 17–18 minutes until lightly golden on the edges
9. Allow cookie cake to cool completely
10. Decorate with frosting and extra sprinkles before serving
