Description

This American Flag Fruit Pizza is a festive 4th of July dessert made with a soft sugar cookie crust, a light cream cheese mousse topping, and fresh raspberries and blueberries arranged like the American flag.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tube (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2/3 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

8 oz whipped topping, thawed

12 oz fresh raspberries

1 pint fresh blueberries

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 12-inch pizza pan.

2. Slice cookie dough and press evenly into the pan to form a crust.

3. Bake for 11–12 minutes until lightly golden, then cool completely.

4. Wash and thoroughly dry all berries.

5. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

6. Fold in whipped topping to create a light mousse.

7. Spread just under half of the cream mixture over the cooled crust.

8. Arrange blueberries in the upper corner for the star section.

9. Place raspberries in rows to form stripes.

10. Pipe or spread remaining cream mixture between rows for white stripes.

11. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Crust may puff while baking but will flatten as it cools.

Always dry fruit completely to prevent sogginess.

Use a piping bag for cleaner stripes if desired.

Best served within 24 hours for freshest texture and appearance.

Store in refrigerator uncovered or loosely covered.
