Description

Juicy baked chicken breasts that are flavorful, tender, and never dry. A go-to recipe for weeknight dinners or meal prep that works every time.

Ingredients

Scale

Olive oil cooking spray

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (trimmed)

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp dried oregano

½ tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp butter (cut into 4 pats)

Parchment paper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

2. Pat chicken dry with paper towels and place in baking dish.

3. Rub minced garlic on each breast; season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and Italian seasoning.

4. Add a pat of butter to each chicken breast.

5. Cover with parchment paper, tucking edges snugly around the chicken.

6. Bake for 30–33 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 162°F–165°F.

7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing/serving.

Notes

Use parchment paper to retain moisture.

Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.

Let chicken rest after baking.

Optional: Broil briefly for golden crispiness.

Seasonings can be customized.
