Description
A quick, refreshing Berry Fruit Salad with fresh blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, apple stars, and a sweet honey lime poppy seed dressing. Perfect for 4th of July, breakfast, dessert, or summer gatherings.
Ingredients
6 ounces fresh blueberries, washed and dried
6 ounces fresh raspberries, washed and dried
6 ounces fresh blackberries, washed and dried
1 apple, sliced into 1/4-inch slices
1 lime, juiced
Zest of 1 lime
3 tablespoons honey, melted
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
1. Place all the berries into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
2. Cut the apple slices into small star shapes using a cookie cutter and keep them aside.
3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together lime juice, lime zest, melted honey, and poppy seeds until combined.
4. Pour the dressing over the berries and gently toss to coat evenly.
5. Add the apple stars on top and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
You can swap or add strawberries, cherries, grapes, or pomegranate seeds as desired.
Frozen berries may be used if fully thawed and drained, though they will be softer in texture.
For best flavor, let the salad sit so the dressing can soak into the fruit.
This recipe can be made ahead or prepped in parts and combined before serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days, though berries may soften over time.
Serve alone or with yogurt, granola, ice cream, or whipped cream.
