Bright blue sanding sugar
Instructions

3. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
4. Remove the cherries from the rum.
5. Pat the cherries completely dry with paper towels.
6. Melt the white chocolate wafers according to package directions until smooth.
7. Hold each cherry by the stem and dip it into the melted white chocolate.
8. Let the excess chocolate drip off.

11. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator.
12. Chill until the coating feels firm.
13. Serve chilled.
Notes
Make sure the cherries are very dry after soaking so the chocolate sticks well.
Chill after dipping so the coating hardens quickly.
For best flavor, soak the cherries overnight.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Enjoy within a few days.
You can use different flavored alcohols or change the sanding sugar colors for other holidays.
