Ingredients
15 oz yellow cake mix
3 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup peach nectar or peach juice
1 lb peeled and chopped fresh peaches, about 3 to 4 peaches

1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. Mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, peach nectar, and optional food coloring until smooth.
3. Fold in the chopped peaches gently.
4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
5. Bake for about 28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with only moist crumbs.
6. To make the frosting, heat butter, cream, and brown sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly until it reaches a boil.
7. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract and confectioners’ sugar until smooth and lump-free.
8. Warm gently again if the frosting begins to thicken too much.
9. Quickly pour the frosting over the warm cake and spread evenly before it starts setting.
10. Let the frosting firm up at room temperature or chill before slicing.
