Description

Cinnamon Sugar Crescent Pizza is a quick dessert made with flaky crescent dough, buttery cinnamon sugar topping, and sweet vanilla glaze. It bakes in about 15 minutes and delivers warm bakery style flavor with crisp edges and a soft center.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 tablespoons melted butter

1/3 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

3/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 to 3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the baking sheet and press the seams together to form a single sheet of dough.

3. In a bowl combine melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until well mixed.

4. Spread the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the dough.

5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust turns golden brown and the topping bubbles slightly.

6. In a small bowl mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until a smooth glaze forms.

7. Allow the baked crust to cool slightly, drizzle the glaze over the top, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Partially baking the dough for a few minutes before adding the topping can help create a crispier crust.

Adjust the cinnamon amount depending on your taste preference.

For a thinner glaze add more milk. For thicker icing use less milk.

This dessert tastes best served warm.

Store leftovers covered at room temperature for 1 to 2 days.

Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze tightly wrapped for up to 2 months.

Reheat in a 350°F oven for several minutes or microwave briefly until warm.

Optional toppings include chopped nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, caramel drizzle, nutmeg, or flaky salt.
