Description

A warm, creamy Crockpot Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe made with spinach, artichokes, garlic, cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan, and mozzarella. Perfect for parties, game days, and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

½ yellow onion, diced

6 cloves garlic, minced

14 oz chopped artichoke hearts, drained

12 oz frozen spinach

8 oz cream cheese

⅔ cup sour cream

¼ cup mayonnaise

2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese

1½ cups grated mozzarella cheese

½ tablespoon salt

Instructions

1. Combine the onion, garlic, artichokes, spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, parmesan, mozzarella, and salt in a slow cooker and mix well.

2. Cut the cream cheese into small cubes and place them on top.

3. Cook on high for 1½ hours.

4. Stir until smooth and creamy.

5. Cover again and cook for another 30 minutes until fully melted and hot.

6. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetables.

Notes

Adjust the salt level to taste after cooking if a saltier dip is preferred.

Drain the artichoke hearts thoroughly to avoid excess grease.

Freshly grated parmesan gives better flavor and texture than pre-shredded cheese.

Best served warm.

Keep on the warm setting during parties and stir occasionally to maintain texture.

Leftovers can be reused in wonton cups, baguette bites, or pinwheels.
