6 fresh mint leaves
2 limes, quartered
Sparkling water, to top
Lime wheel, mint sprig, or lavender buds for garnish
Ice
Instructions
1. Place the mint leaves and lime wedges in a highball glass and gently muddle to release the lime juice and mint oils.
2. Pour in the lavender syrup and fill the glass with ice.
3. Top with sparkling water and stir lightly to combine while preserving carbonation.
4. Garnish with a lime wheel, mint sprig, or lavender buds and serve immediately.
Notes
Use culinary-grade lavender syrup for the best floral flavor.
Avoid over-muddling the mint, as it can develop a bitter taste.
Adjust sweetness gradually by increasing or decreasing the lavender syrup.
For a decorative presentation, use lavender-infused ice cubes or edible flowers.
A thin slice of purple radish or a few blueberries can add color.
Basil can be used instead of mint for a different herbal note.
Lemon can replace lime for a softer citrus flavor.
Simple syrup can substitute for lavender syrup if a floral flavor is not desired.
Chill the glass beforehand for a colder drink.
Use fresh ice and add sparkling water slowly to maintain carbonation.
Taste and adjust sweetness or dilution before serving.
