Description
This Peach & Basil Naan Bread Pizza is a quick summer flatbread with juicy peaches, fresh mozzarella, basil, garlic olive oil, and optional balsamic reduction.
Ingredients
2 large naan breads
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 fresh peach, thinly sliced
4 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
15 basil leaves, chopped
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, optional
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Combine olive oil and garlic in a small bowl, then brush the mixture over both naan breads.
3. Place the naan on the prepared baking sheet and layer with mozzarella slices followed by peach slices. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is melted, browned, and bubbly.
5. If using balsamic vinegar, simmer it in a saucepan until reduced by about half and slightly thickened.
6. Remove flatbreads from the oven, sprinkle with fresh basil, drizzle with balsamic reduction if desired, slice, and serve.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best flavor and sweetness.
