Description

This Peach Moscow Mule is a refreshing summer cocktail with sweet peach puree, spicy ginger beer, bright lime juice, and warm cinnamon-infused syrup. It tastes like peach pie in a glass and works beautifully for backyard gatherings, BBQs, and seasonal celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale

Cinnamon-Infused Simple Syrup:

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

1 cinnamon stick

Peach Moscow Mule:

2 oz peach puree, from about 1/2 fresh peach

3 oz ginger beer

1 1/2 oz vodka

1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

1/2 oz cinnamon-infused simple syrup

Ice, for serving

Optional garnish: peach slices, mint leaves, or basil

Instructions

1. Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

2. Remove from the heat, add the cinnamon stick, cover, and let steep for 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on your desired cinnamon flavor.

3. Strain the syrup and refrigerate until needed.

4. Blend the peach into a smooth puree. If fresh peaches are unavailable, use peach nectar or thawed frozen peaches.

5. Add the peach puree, ginger beer, vodka, lime juice, and cinnamon syrup to a copper mug or serving glass.

6. Stir until combined, add ice, and serve immediately.

7. Garnish with peach slices, mint leaves, or basil if desired.

Notes

The cinnamon syrup recipe yields enough for about 8 cocktails.

Peach nectar, thawed frozen peaches, or drained canned peaches can replace fresh peaches.

The cinnamon flavor becomes stronger the longer the syrup infuses.

Prepare the syrup and peach puree ahead of time and store refrigerated until ready to use.

For parties, multiply the recipe and serve as a pitcher cocktail.

Use frozen peach slices instead of ice to keep the drink cold without diluting it.

For a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka.

Best served immediately over ice.

Big-batch version for 8 drinks: 16 oz peach puree, 24 oz ginger beer, 12 oz vodka, 4 oz lime juice, and 4 oz cinnamon syrup.
