Description
This Raspberry Peach Smoothie blends sweet peaches, tart raspberries, creamy vanilla Greek yogurt, and almond milk into a refreshing five minute drink.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen raspberries
3/4 cup chopped fresh peaches
1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1/3 cup vanilla almond milk
Handful of ice cubes, if using fresh fruit instead of frozen
Instructions
1. Pour the vanilla almond milk into the blender first.
2. Add the vanilla Greek yogurt, raspberries, and chopped peaches.
3. Add a handful of ice cubes if you use fresh fruit instead of frozen fruit.
4. Blend on high for about 2 minutes, or until smooth.
5. Stop and scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.
6. Blend for another 30 seconds.
7. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra protein and longer lasting fullness, blend in a scoop of your preferred protein powder.
Frozen fruit creates a thicker, colder smoothie without the need for ice.
If using fresh fruit, add a handful of ice cubes for a chilled texture.
Layer the ingredients from liquids to frozen ingredients for easier blending.
Fresh or frozen raspberries both work well.
You can replace almond milk with any type of milk.
Adjust the peach to raspberry ratio to suit your taste.
Refrigerate leftover smoothie in a sealed container. Stir it well or blend it with a little extra yogurt before serving.
